Welcome to Mathalon. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mathalon website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You may close your account at any time.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping or bulk-downloading content beyond normal use, manipulating ratings, matches, or leaderboards, disrupting other users, or uploading unlawful, harmful, or infringing material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Content and intellectual property
The problems, solutions, ratings, and other materials provided through the Service are owned by Mathalon or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for personal, non-commercial study. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant Mathalon a license to host, display, and use it to operate and improve the Service.
4. Service availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mathalon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
